Arlathan Crater Center

I had the pleasure of helping shape the Arlathan Crater Quest. I was given the opportunity to work with the level designer to come up with the first few iterations of this space while respecting the narrative direction. We had some guidelines to play with but otherwise, were free to really come up with the best way of expression our vision within the constraints of the art direction. We worked closely together to ensure that combat and exploration were at the head of the design. Most of the heavy lifting was done by the architectural kit that I tried to use in as many different ways as possible to create variety and interest. It goes without saying that there were other artists that handled the polish, lighting and vfx. Through everyone's efforts, this space really took shape and came together. Thanks to everyone who worked on the level to push it as far as we could.
