For this project, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. On a trip, I came across this house that really caught my attention and I really wanted to model it. I wanted to keep it modular in unreal so I had to adjust some of the proportions as I went along. Afterwards, I relied entirely on megascan assets to texture the building and prop up the scene. My main inspiration for the setting and mood comes from 80s horror. I especially love the visuals from old vhs covers and wanted to capture a house that could be featured on one of those covers.
